Toosii - Favorite Song

In early 2023, Syracuse-born artist Toosii crafted a masterclass in modern romantic hip-hop with his blockbuster hit, "Favorite Song." Long before the official music video premiered, a mere acoustic teaser snippet set social media ablaze, spawning millions of user-created videos and proving that raw, soulful vulnerability was precisely what listeners were craving. Driven by warm guitar riffs and Toosii’s intimate, heart-on-his-sleeve vocal delivery, the track dramatically catapulted into the Top 5 of the Billboard Hot 100, solidifying his reign in contemporary R&B-infused rap.

The official video visually amplifies this tender narrative, framing Toosii as a romantic modern-day serenader offering comfort, devotion, and healing through music.

Time Capsule 2023: The track was a defining sound of 2023—a year when short-form video algorithms overwhelmingly dictated global music charts, AI-generated tracks sparked fiery debates across the industry, and stadium tours dominated live culture.
